Playa lakes play a huge role in the ecosystem of the Texas Panhandle. Although they look dry most of the year, they fill with rain during the spring providing a welcome respite to birds migrating through the Panhandle. Come learn about the importance of the playa as well as identifying the different migratory birds that visit the Goodnight Ranch each year. Programs will be presented at 11:00, 1:00 and 3:00 and are included in the regular admission price.
