Eisenhower Birthplace State Historic Site Events
Spring Break Week: March 12-14, 10 AM - 12 PM daily. Bring your students to the Visitors Center during Spring Break for free activities to explore the world of Dwight Eisenhower and his Birthplace. Each day features a different activity such as painting, crafting, coloring, story time, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). Children must be accompanied by adults. FREE.
President Dwight Eisenhower and First Lady Mamie Eisenhower revived the Easter Egg Roll tradition at the White House in 1953. Enjoy an egg scramble, egg roll races, craft activities, and a visit by the Easter Bunny. For youth up to age 12. FREE.

The Eisenhower Birthplace welcomes the entire 7th Grade from Denison’s Scott Middle School as part of the annual city-wide Denison History Day event. Please be aware of this extra activity as you plan your visit to the Eisenhower Birthplace.
