Spurred by the Soviet Union’s launch in 1957 of the world’s first artificial satellite, Sputnik I, NASA encouraged the peaceful development of space science.  The exhibit will be on display from 4/10/2018 - 8/13/2018

Come build a satellite with us on Technology Tuesdays!  We are celebrating the 60th anniversary of NASA, created by President Dwight D. Eisenhower.  (The satellite you build you may take home with you!).  For ages 8-10.  Supplies and snacks provided.  $10 per participant (pay at the Visitors Center).  Reservations required at 903-465-8908.

The Eisenhower Birthplace Foundation gave the Eisenhower Birthplace site to the State of Texas 60 years ago today!  Stop by for refreshments and free tours of the Birthplace house at 2 and 3 pm.
