Join us for our biggest event of the year, Farming Heritage Day, on Saturday, September 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. We'll have many hands-on activities for families, antique tractor displays, farm animals, games, food, tours and more! Our newest exhibit, "Breaking Ground: Cattle, Corn, and Cars on the Rayburn Farm" will open to the public on Saturday, September 22 at 10 a.m. This exhibit explores the history of farming and ranching at Sam Rayburn's home in Texas. Trends in farming in North Texas from the mid-20th century are explored from manual labor to mechanized equipment leading to the need for soil and water...
The 2018 Cemetery Walking Tour of Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham will be held on Saturday, October 27 at 10 a.m. Explore the graves of World War I veterans and learn of their activities during the "Great War." Refreshments served. The tour is free.

Celebrate Texas Archeology Month at the Sam Rayburn House State Historic Site on Saturday, October 27 from 1--3 p.m. View archeological collections recovered from the grounds of the Sam Rayburn House during a dig in 1977. Admission is free.
