March 12

Members of the Marshall Beekeepers Association will display a demonstrtion hive and talk to guests about bees, honey and how not to get stung!!

March 13

Members of the Harrison County Master Gardeners will help guests make seed balls and have suggestions for summer gardens. Additionally, guests will have a chance to help the site plant a flower garden and will take home a sprouting sunflower!!

March 14

Rachel Galan from the Caddo Mounds State Historic Site will tell the fable of how Snake Woman brought seeds to the Caddo People and will lead a guided edible plant walk and talk. 

March 15

Guests will enjoy an introduction to birding with Caddo Lake State Park Ranger, Kelsey Johnson. Binoculars and birding information will be provided.

March 16

Staff from the Caddo Lake National Wildlife Refuge will tell guests about local wildlife and give a great history of the Refuge. Information about visiting this wild and wonderful place will be available!

April 2018

April 14

Workshop guests will have the opportunity to make their very own fairy garden. Supplies will be provided to include fairy garden container, plants, soil, stones, moss and other items to personalize your garden. 

June 2018

June 16

This workshop is open to ages 15 and up and is aimed at anyone interested in researching their genealogy. This is a beginner course and will cover the very basics of research. Computers are not needed but you are welcome to bring yours. There is no WiFi in the building. Guests will take away resources to help them start their search....
