Fort Griffin offers overnight camping at 33 campsites and primitive camping on nearly five acres. View the Fort Griffin Campground Map (PDF).
All sites, except the primitive sites, include a fire ring, outdoor grill, and picnic table on a concrete pad. Eight sites have full RV hookups, 20 sites have RV water and electric hookups, and five sites are designated tent camping with water only. The Shelter is completely enclosed with air conditioning and heat, overhead lighting and electricity, concrete floor, and outside water faucet (no beds included).

The campground area also has two men’s and women’s restrooms with shower facilities.
A primitive camping area for camping with horses is also available. Water is a short distance. Riders can access approximately 300 acres of longhorn pasture (no trails). Ground fires are not allowed but fire boxes are available upon request. Negative Coggins test papers must be provided before horses are unloaded from trailers.
