Please join us at Caddo Mounds State Historic Site for an after hours Caddo traditional stories-based tour, followed by appetizers and a conversation with the site educator/interpreter on "How do past relationships shape our present understanding of our identities, our homes, and our shared history?"
Come journey through time and connect to the prehistoric people who made Caddo Mounds their home more than 1,000 years ago, their descendants, and the adventurers who traversed this sacred space. After the tour, engage in a facilitated conversation about the role of the storyteller, traveler, and historian in our understanding of past events and current relationships.
The program will end around 7 p.m., but we will leave the site open until 8:30 p.m. for you to enjoy a picnic dinner and continue the conversation.
Recommended age: high school and up.
This program is restricted to 30 participants. Please RSVP to 936-858-3218.
