Camp Coffee, Cobbler, and Jam Music Series features 19th century through early-20th century music events celebrating the different genres of music and campfire cooking historically held at the Confederate Reunion Grounds State Historic Site.
The Bluegrass Solution, a Houston-based bluegrass band, will perform beneath the historic 1893 Dance Pavilion from 6–8 p.m., playing hard-driving traditional bluegrass and bluegrass gospel music.
“Jammers” are welcome to join the day’s festivities and camping available for the weekend. For camping information and reservations, contact email@example.com.
Refreshments for the evening event will be provided by Friends of the Confederate Reunion Grounds, to include coffee and dutch oven cobblers. Boy Scout Troop 70 of Mexia will be demonstrating campfire cooking for cobblers.
Visit the Friends of Confederate Reunion Grounds Hospitality Table for information and membership forms for individuals interested in joining the nonprofit group. All donations will be used to fund future preservation projects and educational and interpretive programming and events.
