The FY19 CLG grant application period is now open. In addition the regular CLG grant, the CLG program is offering two additional special grant calls. Information and applications for each grant opportunity can be found below.
FY19 CLG Grant
CLG grants provide funding to participating city and county governments to develop and sustain an effective local preservation program critical to preserving local historic resources.

Special Call to Host a Regional Training
Access to regular training opportunities is a benefit of participating in the CLG Program. It is also a requirement for Historic Preservation Officers (HPO) and members of the preservation commission or CLG committee to regularly attend preservation-related training. Therefore, the THC is seeking applications from qualified CLG communities to host a regional training.

Special Call to Develop Phase 3 of DowntownTX.org for CLGs
The THC will select and work with a pilot community to develop and test the next phase of DowntownTX.org. This phase of software development will focus on creating up-to-date historic building inventory management and reporting features so that a community has the tools to be more proactive in its approach to historic preservation.
