THC's Historic Sites

Show your support for the historic places in Texas by giving holiday gifts from the Texas Historical Commission Stores. We are pleased to share our holiday gift guide to inspire ideas for fans of history and heritage travel.

If you would like a product from our state historic sites stores shipped to you this season, email museumstores@thc.texas.gov or call 979-885-2181 to inquire about availability or to purchase items.

Many of our sites offer unique gifts made by artisans across Texas. A Christmas-themed tea towel makes a perfect gift. A custom hand-painted ornament from Kitty Keller Designs features a longhorn from the official longhorn herd of Texas at Fort Griffin.

Do you know someone who’d love to trace the tracks of the Texas Revolution and the republic era where major battles occurred, independence was forged, and soldiers and their families lived? There are many unique gifts available at Washington-on-the-Brazos, San Felipe de Austin, and San Jacinto Battleground and Museum.

For the fan of Texas political figures, the Eisenhower Birthplace and Sam Rayburn House have several unique items to commemorate these leaders including a bumper sticker of one of Mr. Sam’s more colorful quotes.

The Museum Store at the National Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg features one of the largest, most comprehensive collections of books and gift items connected with World War II in the Pacific Theater.

Fishing shirts, a custom pen-and-knife box set, and a whiskey decanter set are just several unique items that are available.

Plan your visit to any of our sites by reading our state historic sites official guide, and explore museum stores to get more inspiration for holiday gifts.
