Saturday, November 17, 2018 - 9:30am to 2:00pm
On November 17th at 9:30am on Camp Mabry, the 36th Division (Texas National Guard) will conduct a division change of command. The event also celebrates the centennial of the Great War armistice where the division fought at St Etienne during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive. There will be seven brigade formations of 100 soldiers each all marching by the viewing area in front of the new commander, with a WWII Sherman tank and an armored Half-Track mortar carrier, along with four types of helicopters, Humvees, LMTVs and High Mobility Artillery Rocket System. There will also be a cannon salute battery that fires right after the national anthem.
