Community Heritage Development Workshops

In 2014 and 2015, Texas communities partnered with the Heritage Tourism Program to develop unique visitor experiences through local level product development workshops. The workshops brought together cultural leaders, business owners, city officials, and other interested residents during independent workshops held in each city to identify and develop untapped heritage tourism resources and experiences.  Here are some examples of collaborations across the state.
