JOB OBJECTIVE: Under the supervision of the Director of Communications, this position works closely with Community Heritage Development (CHD) and other agency staff and performs advanced informational and educational work. Work involves creating, coordinating, and overseeing CHD communications and marketing initiatives, including the Main Street, Certified Local Government (CLG), and Heritage Tourism programs, while aligning with the agency’s overall communications strategies. Develop and implement communications and public relations strategies to promote the agency's community-based programs. Work under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
