The Friends of Casa Navarro is sponsoring the Annual José Antonio Navarro Distinguished Student Scholarship Award. Our past scholar recipients have been a diverse group of students attending various universities. Award of this scholarship will go to students who are well-rounded and exhibit potential to excel in college while contributing to the community at large.
The following categories represent the criteria with which the Award Committee will utilize in determining the recipients of this award (in no particular order):
- Leadership
- Scholastic Achievement
- Service Performance
- Recommendations
- Reflective Essay of your visit to Casa Navarro State Historic Site and National Landmark
Scholarships will be awarded to select graduates. Recipients will be recognized and awarded scholarships at the annual Navarro birthday celebration in February at Casa Navarro State Historic Site, A National Historic Landmark. See scholarship application for details.
