Our first book of the year will be How to be a Victorian by Ruth Goodman. We will meet this month at Joe Friday's Diner in Mexia. We will pick the restaurant for next month before we leave!

Join us for an hour of hot cocoa and cookies as we stay open a little later for you to enjoy our site! Come inside the Visitors Center to get a cup of cocoa, eat some cookies, explore the gift shop and read the history of our site through our text panels. Everyone is welcome to go and explore the site as well!
Admission is free during the hour of the event.
This is a FREE*, fun workshop making some neat Valentine’s gifts and treats. The craft table will be in the Visitors Center, so come and see us during our operating hours. We will be painting, coloring and crafting all sorts of fun Valentine’s. All materials will be supplied by the Confederate Reunion Grounds. Come out and join us!

Last year was so much fun, we have decided to host another Chili Cook-off!
Chefs: Admission is $10.00 to enter your chili. Please have chili cooked and ready to go in a crock-pot or similar container. Plugs will be available for you to plug into. Please set aside a cup or so of chili out of your crock-pot for judges to taste. Please get to the Site early to set up!
