Eisenhower Birthplace State Historic Site Events

Join the Eisenhower Birthplace Staff from 10 am to 2 pm for presidential crafts, games, and trivia. This year, there will be a special focus on sharing recipes that the Eisenhowers enjoyed eating.  The event is available with paid admission to the site (Family rate: 1 adult and 2 youth (6-18) or 2 adults and 1 youth $8; each additional youth is $1; children under the age of 5 are free).

Join the Eisenhower Birthplace staff at the Denison Public Library (300 W. Gandy) at 6 pm to engage in a conversation about what Eisenhower did and didn’t do to further Civil Rights during his presidency. Free!

Join the Eisenhower Birthplace staff in this annual event with an egg scramble (hunt) followed by egg roll races, which pays homage to the Eisenhower’s Era traditional Easter Egg Roll on the Whitehouse lawn, and other activities.  Egg scrambles -- with three fields for different age groups -- begin promptly at 10 AM.  Please bring your own basket or container.  For youth up to age 12.  FREE....
