Join our staff and volunteers as we delve intoTexas Archeology and the expansive cultural heritage of our great state in honor of Texas Archeology Month! This free event offers information booths, hands-on activities, lots of crafts, and live demonstrations including a blacksmith, rag rug weaver, historic foodways and a human sundial! We are introducing our first ever Twig Sculpture...

We are going to attempt to make ginerbread, the cake version and the cookie version. As stated before, our oven is from the 1880s and sometimes doesn't get hot enough. Join us and let's find out together if the oven is hot, not hot enough, or too hot!!!

This free, family-friendly event is full of crafting possibilities.  All are invited to try their hand at soap making, twig weaving, cork pumpkin crafting, weaving with a cardboard loom, yarn wrapped letters, freestyle with paper, glue and scissors, painted rocks, dye handkercheifs, button christmas tree ornament, paper airplanes, oragami and much, much more.  While this is free, donations...

Kids of all ages are invited to join us in the Blake House to make glittery holiday slime. Afterward, everyone will settle in with a frosted Christmas cookie covered with sprinkles and a cup of hot chocolate to enjoy storytime with Mrs.Claus!
