Landmark Inn State Historic Site

Siblings Ruth and Jordan Lawler were champions of historic preservation. After purchasing the site in 1925, the Lawlers began renovating the property, reopening the site as a bed-and-breakfast in 1942. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the Lawler’s Landmark Inn. The site now honors them annually with the Lawler Lecture Series in Historic Preservation. Come enjoy light refreshments in Landmark’s museum gallery and have a dialogue with local scholars in historic preservation, architecture, history, and archaeology; speaker TBD. Space is limited, so please call 830-931-2133 for more information or to RSVP today.
