In honor of the site's 60th anniversary, join Varner-Hogg Plantation for an educational overnight camp out for sixty students from fifth to eighth grade. During the event, students will learn about life and survival in early Texas through a series of hands-on demonstrations, and will participate in guided tours of the plantation house, grounds, and site exhibits. Advanced registration is required, and costs $10 per student. Tents, a commemorative t-shirt, and two meals will be provided. Students will need to provide their own sleeping bags.
