The Sam Rayburn House State Historic Site
The Sam Rayburn House State Historic Site is one of nine locations within Bonham, Texas, hosting quilts from across the United States and around the globe. Our Visitor Center will have on display a selection of quilts from the Dolph Briscoe Center’s Astronomical Quilts! Block Challenge Collection and a temporary exhibit of sewing notions and unfinished quilt tops from our collection. We will offer guided tours of the Rayburn family home and their quilts, including a prairie rose quilt, every thirty minutes from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
