Landmark Inn State Historic Site is one of seven locations in the historic core of Castroville marking the 175 years of the city.
Official description from the Castroville Area Chamber of Commerce: Come celebrate the 175th birthday of Castroville! The celebration will boast food, crafts, performances, tours, historical reenactments and SO MUCH MORE! Begin the celebration with the Founders' Day 5K and then make your way to September Square for the Opening Ceremonies at 9:30 by the local chapter of The Daughters of The Republic of Texas. Pick up a map and enjoy various activities taking place at Steinbach Hus, The Landmark Inn, September Square, Zion Lutheran Church, Houston Square, Castro Colonies Living History Center and St. Louis Catholic Church!
