Cemeteries & Historic Preservation (Lunch and Learn Series)

This fun and educational program will highlight the important role cemeteries play in preserving our history and heritage.

As part of the tricentennial celebration commemorating the establishment of Mission Dolores in San Augustine, Mission Dolores State Historic Site will hold similar lunchtime programs once a month throughout 2017, covering a variety of topics related to East Texas history.

Dr. Richard Hackney, President of the Historical Cemetery Society of Texas, will be a guest speaker for the program.
