The historical marker dedication for Lockhart Community Cemetery, a Historic Texas Cemetery (HTC) will be held this Sunday, April 23rd, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Go north from Cuero towards Gonzales on US 183, just past the overpass (the Y where you would turn off to go to Yoakum) the road will be on your right. The cemetery is a short distance down the road, on your left. It is next to New Hope Baptist Church. Come help celebrate this special occasion.
