Draconids Meteor Shower and Star Gazing

Join the Confederate Reunion Grounds State Historic Site for an evening of stargazing. This event coincides with the Draconids Meteor Shower. The shower, if visible, can allow viewers to see as many as 10 meteors per hour. The shower runs annually from October 6-10 and peaks this year on October 8. 

Admission is $5 per family and all ages are welcome. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own binoculars and telescopes to the event. If skies are clear, many constellations can be seen, as well as the meteor shower.
