Eisenhower Birthplace State Historic Site
Rain Update!
Due to the heavy rain forecasted this weekend, the USO Show time and place has changed.
The 10:00 a.m. Brick Dedication Ceremony has been moved to the Eisenhower Auditorium, 1901 S. Mirick. Special Guest Merrill Eisenhower Atwater will be the featured speaker. The USO Show by Shawnda Rains Entertainment Group will follow the Brick Dedication Ceremony.
Eisenhower Birthplace Activities:
The site staff will wish Eisenhower a happy birthday at 1 p.m., with a cake provided by the Hilton Garden Inn of Denison.
There will be free tours of the Eisenhower Birthplace house at 11:30 a.m., and 12:30, 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. A craft area for families will also open during the event.
