What: A "Lunch and Learn" program with guest speaker Steven Gonzales of El Camino Real de los Tejas National Historic Trail Association!

Where: Meet inside the museum.

When: Friday, February 24th 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

What to bring: A brown bag lunch and a coworker!

This fun and educational program will discuss the history of the “Royal Road of the Tejas Indians,” which runs through Mission Dolores State Historic Site. As part of the City of San Augustine tricentennial celebration, Mission Dolores will hold similar lunchtime programs once a month throughout 2017, chronologically covering a variety of topics related to East Texas history. El Camino Real de los Tejas played an important role in the founding of Texas and San Augustine!
