***No program February 22, 2020. Please join us for 'A Day of Remembrance' (See separate event listing for details.)

Discover the people who lived on Varner-Hogg and the work they did on the plantation. Each month, we’ll discover how landowners, enslaved people, sharecroppers, cowhands, and roughnecks grew crops, took care of their families, kept the plantation running, and celebrated holidays. There will be an educator-led program at 10 a.m. and at 10:30 a.m. followed by a craft activity from 11 a.m. to Noon.

PLEASE READ: Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Time Team Jr. programs are free with paid site admission (see below) and do not require reservations, unless otherwise stated. Program schedule is subject to change or cancellation without notice. Programs canceled if there are no participants 10 minutes after start time. Please look for posted notices or call 979-345-4656.
