Caddo Mounds State Historic Site invites the public to the first in a series of Saturday afternoon programs to learn about the early technologies used by prehistoric Native Americans – the spear, atlatl, bow, and throwing sticks.
Activities will include classroom instruction, a hands-on demonstration in friction fire starting, a guided tour of the Caddo Mound site, and atlatl throwing for those who wish to test their skill.
There is a $4 charge for the program, and the fee includes a tour of the Caddo Mounds Site. Seating is limited, so Please call to indicate interest In Attending.
