Kreische Brewery and Monument Hill State Historic Sites
Looking for 4th of July weekend plans? Join us at Kreische Brewery and Monument Hill to take a special Independence Day tour, make your very own ice cream at the Kreische House, and create festive pinwheel crafts!
Come to the sites for a nice picnic and to enjoy the outdoors, and take one of our tours to learn about the Kreisches’ immigrant experience, the rise of the Bluff Schutzenverein, and the Independence Day festivities that were celebrated by German Texans on the Bluff.
Tours will be offered both days at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. Ice cream making will be on Saturday, July 1, and pinwheel making will be on Sunday, July 2, both from 10-2.
