Before Janice Woods Windle became a famed author, she led the charge to save the Magoffin Home. During the 1970's, Janice worked with the mayor to develop a plan to preserve the Home. Join her as she recounts behind-the-scenes of the fight to save El Paso's history.

Janice Woods Windle earned academic honors including Mortar Board ant the Univeristy of Texas Women's "Woman of the Year." She also received the Father of Texas Award and the Texas Legislature passed a bill commending her on her superb contributions to the citizens of Texas. Janice Has also been inducted into the El Paso Women's Hall of Fame.
