Livingston the Lion, a stuffed animal from the late 1800s, is hosting a sleepover for your stuffed animal, doll, or action figure on the night of Friday, July 29 at the Sam Bell Maxey House State Historic Site. Sign-in will be at the Maxey House from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. for the sleepover. After introductions, Livingston is inviting all his new friends to stay for an early bedtime story and snack beginning at 7:00 p.m. At the end of the story, good byes will be said between the children and their toys as the toys get ready to stay overnight, where the toys will have a sleepover at the Maxey House with Livingston!
The toys can be picked up any time between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 30. We'll give you back your toy along with pictures of the all the fun that was had at the sleepover. Activities and yard games will be set up around the site for everyone to participate in on Saturday, including some of the activities the toys did so you can also join in the fun.
