Mason marker dedication - First Comanche-German Meeting

The Mason County Historical Commission will dedicate a new historical marker through the undertold program commemorating the first encounter between the Penateka Comanches and a group of German immigrants to the Texas Hill Country in 1847. The program will take place on Sunday, May 10, at 2 p.m. at the Odeon Theater on the west side of the courthouse square in Mason. Contact szesch@hctc.net to RSVP or for more information.
