Maxey by Candlelight

It is said things look different in the dark, and that is true of the Sam Bell Maxey House, especially around Halloween. The Maxey House will be open late on October 27 from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. for “Maxey by Candlelight.” Visitors are invited to step inside after night has fallen and the lights are dimmed to learn about Victorian death, funeral, and mourning traditions.

Admission is $5 per person. If you attend both "A Bewitching Affair at the Maxey House" and “Maxey by Candlelight” on October 27, admission is only $7.
