Landmark Inn State Historic Site
Staff at Landmark Inn State Historic Site are excited to present Pioneer Days on Saturday, October 13. During the day, visitors will learn stories from the past at exciting exhibits the whole family will love including surveying, spinning, open fire cooking, mules and wagons, and more. That night, visitors can return for a guided campfire tour into 1844 where they will listen in on conversations among Alsatian colonists, Lipan Apaches, Tejano ranchers and Texas Rangers.
Exhibits will be open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Cost is $4 for adults, $3 for children (ages 6-170. Campfire tours begin at 7 p.m. with the last hour leaving at 8:30 p.m. Campfire tours are free with a reservation. Call 830-931-2133 to make your reservation. Hurry because slots are filling up fast!
