
Join us for an evening of night sky exploration.
Mission Tejas State Park and the Caddo Mounds State Historic Site are joining forces to lead you on a tour of the night sky. Staff and volunteers will explain the importance of dark skies and discuss the connections between humans and stars. There will be multiple telescopes as well as binoculars on hand that will provide you with an opportunity to view stars, planets, and nebulae! Feel free to bring your own binoculars and something to sit on while enjoying this engaging experience.
Meet: Pavilion at Caddo Mounds State Historic Site
Bring: Drinking water, binoculars, a lawn chair or blanket, and dress for the weather.
Note: No pets, please. The program is free however there is a $4.00 entry fee per person No need to register -- just show up!
