Join the Landmark Inn for Storytime at the Inn, a fun web-program for the whole family. This month, Storytime at the Inn is considering the ground beneath Castroville, Texas with a special reading of “Miss Rumphius” by Barbara Cooney.
Storytime at the Inn is a free 45-minute program that includes a reading of the illustrated book followed by a short Q&A session. A sing-along activity will end our program.
This program is free and open to the public. Follow the link below to register for this Zoom event. The online story time will be Saturday April 24, 2021 11am-11:45am.
Print out our "'Deep in the Heart of Texas' Sing-Along Sheet" from the photo gallery and bring it and your singing voice to Storytime at the Inn for a sing-along after the story. The photo gallery also includes our "My Favorite Place in Nature - Post Program Drawing Activity" that can be done after the Storytime at the Inn program.
We can't wait to share this amazing story with all of you! And if you like the "Miss Rumphius" story, visit our Museum Store to purchase your own copy! We also have copies of the "A Pocket Naturalist Guide to The Night Sky" and "A Pocket Naturalist Guide to Reptiles and Amphibians."
