Summer is a time of growth and discovery, and summer camps are the source of countless enriching and memorable experiences for children. This week-long summer camp provides the opportunity to learn about local, natural, and cultural history in a relaxed setting, through fun and engaging hands-on experiences.

The Columbia Historical Museum, Brazoria County Library System, and Varner-Hogg Plantation State Historic Site’s collections and exhibits serve as a unique backdrop to this year’s “Blast from the Past” day camp. All camp locations take place in the city of West Columbia. Camp locations vary by day.

Please contact us if you are interested in participating in this unique educational event. We sincerely hope we can provide your child with opportunities to grow and discover, and experiences to remember fondly for the rest of his or her life.
