We have a truckload of fun activities and crafts ready to bring summer fun to kids at our new Summer Pop-Ups in West Columbia, Brazoria and Sweeny!
Learn to rope a calf like Hal Fields. Do some laundry the old-fashioned way. And plan a dinner like chef Ike Rhodes. These and other activities and crafts will help children age 12 and younger learn about the many people who have lived, worked and built community at Varner-Hogg Plantation State Historic Site. Pop-up locations will be a secret until the day before when we'll reveal them on Facebook and Instagram (So, be sure to follow us!). Activities will be available for children and their caregivers from 9 a.m. to Noon, each pop-up day.
Summer Pop-Ups are free and open to the public. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
