Join the Living History Foundation on July 20th at the historic Landmark Inn in Castroville, TX. We will be hosting the event “A Sunset Tour: Seeing History from a Different Light” experience history from the perspective of people of color that lived in Tejas before it was Texas and beyond.

While on tour you will encounter eight unique presenters in period dress ranging from a Franciscan Friar during the early exploration & settlement of Tejas to a Seminole Indian Scout keeping the legacy alive.

While waiting for the tour to begin, you can explore the gift shop and enjoy a slice of homemade gingerbread or some old-time cookies. The first tour will start at 7:00 PM as the sun sets the light from your guides’ lanterns will light the way to each station, lit by the faint glow of candlelight.

This event will be an unforgettable and educational experience for all each tour will last approximately one-hour & forty-five minutes and are available for groups of up to twenty people.
