Most arts and cultural organizations embrace the notion of diversity, but how can we also address equity and inclusion in the workplace? What are some tactical strategies arts and cultural organizations can do to make progress in this work? What are barriers to implementing new strategies? Join us as we launch the second year of our four-part series, aimed at answering these questions and facilitating change in our community.
In this first session, a panel of local Houston practitioners will discuss and answer questions about how their organization addresses the topic of equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace and barriers they have encountered through their work.
This program is a collaboration between TAM (Texas Association of Museums), THC (Texas Historical Commission) and the Houston Endowment.
