Brazoria County Historical Museum

“Understanding Audiences and Visitors” will help participants learn how to collect visitor information, locate demographic research, identify overall demographic trends, and explore how to use that information to keep their museums relevant.
The workshop will address ways to measure audiences, identify and target future audiences, and leverage free or low-cost resources for continual market scanning. Combining presentation with informal interaction, the instructor will introduce participants to useful tools, including a simple spreadsheet design for tabulating data and audience profiles.
Particularly appropriate for marketing and development staff, “Understanding Audiences and Visitors” is designed for those responsible for interaction with visitors and audiences. Workshop participants should bring with them any audience or visitor data gathered in the previous year, as well as U.S. Census Bureau information related to their community. (Instructions on how to find census information is provided when you register.)
Cost is $35
