Understanding Audiences and Visitors Workshops

Nov 13 2015 - 8:30am to 4:00pm

Texas Heritage Museum

112 Lamar Drive
Hillsboro, TX 76645

“Understanding Audiences and Visitors” will help participants learn how to collect visitor information, locate demographic research, identify overall demographic trends, and explore how to use that information to keep their museums relevant.

The workshop will address ways to measure audiences, identify and target future audiences, and leverage free or low-cost resources for continual market scanning.  Combining presentation with informal interaction, the instructor will introduce participants to useful tools, including a simple spreadsheet design for tabulating data and audience profiles.

This workshop is sponsored by the Texas Historical Commission's Museum Services Program in partnership with the Texas Association of Museums. Registration is required and is available through the Texas Association of Museums website.
