The Texas Historical Commission's (THC) Military Sites Program, in conjunction with the Bastrop County Historical Society will conduct a FREE oral history training workshop at the Museum & Visitor Center on Wednesday, June 25 from 1 to 4 p.m.

BACKGROUND: The workshops, titled Here and There: Recollections of Texas in World War II, are part of the THC’s national award winning Texas in World War II initiative, a program to honor and preserve the memories of Texans who served in the armed forces during World War II and the contributions made on the home effort.
